Ask HN: Functioning hidpi setup on Linux, how?

How do you manage to have a functioning hidpi setup on Linux? With X, all monitors must share the same pix density, and with Wayland, X apps (running via XWayland) are blurry, like VS Code for instance (scaled up on hidpi displays).
