Derek Chauvin hires new lawyer to appeal conviction in murder of George Floyd

Disgraced Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has tapped a new attorney to handle the appeal of his conviction in April, when he was found guilty in the death of George Floyd, according to court documents released Monday.
